Prayer Training   Teacher: Pastor Dave Huizenga

When we pray, we have the privilege of joining God at work!

Have you desired to grow in understanding and experience in praying for others, for your family, for this nation, for…? Have you felt that prayer seems like work, but you aren’t sure God is answering? Do you wonder about Spiritual Warfare and how to deal with it in prayer?

Do you have a desire to pray for people and see answers right away?
This Prayer Training Course is structured in three areas:

- Teaching - Pastor Dave will give Biblical insight and direction on Prayer

- Discussion - Other leaders will lead discussion on the teaching and walk through questions

- Laboratory - each week we will pray and learn in a safe environment

Hebrews  Facilitator/Teacher: Dave
Marrone

The book of Hebrews is written to people in crisis who were being persecuted and doubting their faith.  Hebrews offers encouragement to all Christians who are going through tough times. It reminds us that Christ is the anchor for our soul, something secure we can hold onto.

The bonus we get in Hebrews is it helps us understand the whole Bible, both Old and New Testaments.  It gives clarity on how the OT promises are fulfilled in the new covenant through Christ and proves that all of Scripture tells one magnificent story. Each week will include a short video by Derwin Gray, followed by a verse-by-verse study of Hebrews and discussion.

Unmasking the Secular Lies of Today’s Moral Issues

Teacher: Sharon Elander

First Corinthians tells us our bodies are a gift from God and a temple of the Holy Spirit. Yet, culture’s mass marketing campaign says bodies are simply for pleasure and immediate self gratification. YOLO (you only live once), right? The human body, from sexuality to what is a human life are the primary moral issues of our time. We will journey into the cultural narrative as compared to God’s, tackling difficult topics such as euthanasia, hook culture and transgenderism.  Some class sessions will have special guest speakers.

Please select one option.
